Kellie Brown

Kellie Brown has been an educator since 1987. During this time, she has worked in schools with high numbers of at-risk students and in schools with some of California’s highest achievers. She understands the great pleasures and pressures of both populations. Kellie has:

  • Been a mentor teacher for the Buena Park School District in the area of assessment;
  • Been a master teacher for the California State University of Fullerton for 15 years;
  • Active with California’s Early Intervention for School Success program;
  • Served as a grant implementation trainer and trainer of trainers;

Additionally, Kellie is featured on Orange County’s “Wired for Reading” and Doug Reeves’s Collaborative Assessment staff development videos. Her currant work is that of a standards support specialist and an elementary teaching assistant principal.
