Geri Anderson


More than thirty years of working as a mathematics classroom teacher and in support of such teachers has given Geri a deep working knowledge of this content area. Her experiences in designing and delivering professional development for teachers are simply too numerous to list, but in addition to providing a plethora of professional development workshops for teachers at the school, district and state levels, Geri has served as:
  • Committee member for NAEP 2004 Mathematics Planning Committee;
  • Mathematics Consultant for the FigureThis.org middle school Web Site.
  • Technology Chair for 1998, 1999 and 2004 Annual Meeting of the National Council of Teachers of Mathematics;
  • Member of education staff of the Senator Labor & Education Committee as an Einstein Fellow; and
  • Selected participant in mathematics professional development at the Woodrow Wilson National Fellowship Foundation, the Department of Energy Teacher Researcher Associates at the Lawrence Berkely Lab, and the Geometry Center at the University of Minnesota.
