Judy Lyle Using the standards to frame and drive curriculum complements Judy Lyle’s passion for teaching writing. Finding the key to turn middle school students on to writing has been her focus for 20 years. Her enthusiasm is contagious and her approach is practical and teacher friendly. While continuing to teach 7th grade Language Arts, other accomplishments include: Candidate for National Board Certification for Early Adolescence/English Language Arts for 2003. Methods instructor for California State University at Los Angeles for 12 years. Teacher for Literature Project 1988 and Writing Project 2000, also out of California State University. Teacher Leader for Mentor Teacher Program for her new teachers in her home district.
