After leaving Washington State, Linda worked for the Council for Basic Education where she was able to direct a 10-person team, which worked in states and districts across the country to facilitate standards development and implementation as well as conduct standards-systems alignment audits. During that time she served on the Planning and Management Committees for the National Assessment for Education Progress 2004 Revision of the Mathematics Framework. Creating Strategic Teaching has given her the opportunity to focus on underperforming schools and underachieving students. She has worked at the national, state, district, and building levels, providing system evaluation and alignment, assessment expertise, and content-based professional development. |
