Molly McCabe


Molly McCabe is currently a K–12 Reading Coordinator for the Riverside County Office of Education. Her specialty is teaching English language learners and socio-economically disadvantaged students in grades K–8. In addition, she was a Mentor teacher, Open Court reading coach, and an assistant principal.

For the past three years she has focused on helping underachieving schools to fully implement instructional materials aligned with state standards. As part of this work she has established reading coaches, fostered data analysis and teacher collaboration, and facilitated the implementation of researched based strategies.  

Molly is a trainer and contributor to the Houghton Mifflin elementary language arts curriculum. In addition to providing training, coaching and support on Houghton Mifflin materials, she supports schools implementing Open Court, High Point, and the Holt, and McDougal Littell Middle School curriculums. She provides extensive follow up training on all components of the curricular program.
